Bike position analysis · Smart bike and indoor trainer
EvenStroke
Two legs. One smooth stroke.
Hardly anyone sits perfectly symmetrically on the bike. From four short videos, EvenStroke shows you where your left and right sides work differently, and what you can change at the saddle, cleats and cockpit. Recorded at home, analysed by EvenStroke.
Why symmetry matters
Small differences, many miles
A pelvis that sits lower on one side. A knee that drifts outward. A leg that has to stand differently on the pedal. At 90 revolutions per minute, each of these details repeats more than 5,000 times an hour.
Differences like these cost power and comfort, and you often only notice them late. EvenStroke measures them before they become habit.
Power left and right
Many riders with power meter pedals such as Garmin Rally know their balance. EvenStroke shows whether your position fits it.
How it works
Simple as that:
Film
Four videos of about one minute each: from the right, left, front and back. We send you an illustrated guide. A phone and a tripod are all you need.
Send
Send us the videos and a few measurements, such as crank length and saddle height. A separate measuring guide explains how; a tape measure is enough.
Get your report
You receive a PDF report with images, clear findings and concrete suggestions for your setup.
Your report
What your analysis includes
Position Score
A number from 0 to 100 for symmetry and bike position. Ideal for comparing changes to your bike before and after. The number above is an example.
Left and right compared
Knees, hips, ankles, foot position, pelvis and shoulders from four angles. Every deviation is rated:
Concrete setup suggestions
Saddle height and setback in millimetres, plus advice on cleats and cockpit. Tailored to your type of bike and your goal: comfort, balanced or performance.
Pictures, not jargon
Stills from your videos with joint lines drawn in, and a slow-motion video on request. Your face is always pixelated.
Examples
What EvenStroke finds, for example:
The pelvis sits lower on the right.
The lower side acts differently on the pedal. A level saddle or a shim under the cleat often helps.
The left knee tracks further out.
Part of the force goes sideways instead of into the pedal. Cleat position and stance width are the first things to look at.
The saddle is rather too high.
With a recommendation in millimetres, based on knee angle, leg length and crank length.

FAQ
Good to know
Which bike do I need?
A smart bike such as the Wahoo KICKR BIKE, or your own bike on an indoor trainer. What matters is that the bike stands firmly and you can ride as usual.
What do I need for the recordings?
A phone, a tripod or a stable surface, some space around the bike and good light. The guide shows step by step where to place the camera.
How and when do I pay?
After ordering, you receive the invoice by email and pay by bank transfer within 14 days.
Do I have to come to you?
No. You film at home and upload the videos via your personal upload link. You receive the report as a PDF by email.
What happens to my videos?
We use your videos only for your analysis and delete them once the job is complete. Your face is pixelated in the report's stills. With your consent, we use anonymised measurements, without images or names, to keep improving EvenStroke. This consent is voluntary and can be withdrawn at any time.
Does EvenStroke replace a visit to the doctor?
No. EvenStroke is a video-based analysis of your bike position, not a medical diagnosis. If you have any complaints, please see a doctor.
How accurate is a video analysis?
Joint points are detected automatically and averaged over many frames. This makes differences between left and right reliably comparable. For each view, the report states how confident the detection was.

2. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by DomainFactory GmbH, Oskar-Messter-Str. 33, 85737 Ismaning, Germany. When you visit it, the server automatically stores information that your browser transmits in so-called server log files: IP address and host name of the accessing computer, date and time of the request, page or file requested, referrer URL (the previously visited page), browser type and version, and operating system. This data is not combined with other data sources.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the security and stability of the website and in error analysis. The hosting provider stores the server log files for 14 days; they are then automatically deleted or anonymised. We have concluded a data processing agreement with DomainFactory GmbH.
3. No cookies, no third-party services
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising services. Fonts and images are embedded directly in the page; no content is loaded from third-party servers.
4. Ordering via the form
When you order, we process the details you enter in the form: name, address, email address, and where applicable phone number, company and VAT ID, the package chosen, details about your bike and goal, your measurements and your message. We need them to conclude and perform the contract and to issue the invoice (Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR). The order is transmitted to our web server in encrypted form and stored there only until we have transferred it to our order management, usually within a few days. You and we receive a confirmation by email. To protect against automated misuse, the server stores the IP address of the order for 24 hours (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
5. Uploading your videos
For the upload, you receive a personal link that only allows uploading and expires after 30 days. The videos are stored by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany, in data centres in Germany. Hetzner processes the data on our behalf under a data processing agreement. We delete the upload folder once the job is complete.
6. Contact by email
When you write to us, we process your details to answer your enquiry and, where applicable, to prepare an order (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Our email mailboxes are also hosted by DomainFactory GmbH, which stores the messages on our behalf. We delete the data once it is no longer needed, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
7. Carrying out the analysis
For your analysis, we process the videos, your measurements, details about your bike and goal, and your contact details (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The videos are analysed on our own computers and are not passed on to third parties. We use them only for your analysis and delete them once the job is complete. Your face is made unrecognisable in the stills in your report. We keep invoices and accounting records for the statutory periods (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
8. Anonymised measurements
Only with your express consent, for example via the tick box in the order form, do we use anonymised measurements from your analysis, such as joint angles and deviations, without images or names, to build reference values and improve EvenStroke (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Consent is voluntary and can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future.
9. Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time. An email to info@evenstroke.com is enough. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority; the authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia (Germany).
10. No automated decisions
We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing.
